The Farm Credit Associations of Arkansas are not traditional lenders, and they think that’s great! We are financial cooperatives with member-owners in each association. Our member-owners share in the profits when our associations have good years. The Board of Directors of each independent Farm Credit Association determines the amount given back annually to member-owners through a cash patronage program. Cash patronage* payouts are normally paid in February based on the previous year’s profitability.
*Patronage is paid to eligible member-owners based on the amount of net interest income the member-owner paid the previous year.
